We have 22 en-suite bedrooms, each with their own décor style and character. All have flat screen television, DVD, Freeview, free Wi-Fi access, ironing board and hairdryer. Four ground floor rooms have facilities for the disabled, welcome pets (by prior arrangement only) and are within easy and level access to the bar, restaurant and parking.

Nestling in the picturesque village of Wark in Northumberland we offer our guests a warm and friendly welcome, a place to unwind and relax, attentive service in luxurious surroundings. We are a Pub, Hotel and Restaurant, passionate about our ales, beers and wines. We offer beautifully appointed accommodation in our individually styled rooms. We pride ourselves on serving locally sourced produce, complimented by our own home grown fruit and vegetables, prepared to an exceptional standard by our chefs and kitchen team.

Food and drink...

Being situated in rural Northumberland, we are surrounded by some of the finest livestock, game, fish, poultry, fruit and vegetables in the Country. Head Chef Eddie Shilton sources prime local ingredients to ensure freshness and flavour.

Look out for dishes including oak smoked duck, chicken and salmon from nearby Bywell Smokery. Vegetarian choices are always available. Our cooking style is primarily modern British but always add some international choices for those with a more cosmopolitan palate.

During summer we grow many of our own herbs, salads, vegetables and many different fruit varieties within our kitchen garden.
